April blog update

I just saw that it has been a while since the last blog entry. So, here is the latest on what is going on with Scenery Solutions.

Since the last blog entry, we have been working on patches for UTX Canada and Ultimate Alaska X (the first patch). Both of these patches have completed the initial round of testing and will be released soon (early may). Prior to public release, we are going to give these patches one more round of testing. Both patches will be released in tandem, because a few corrections were made to the overlapping Alaska/Canada border areas in each product.

After the Canada and Alaska patches are released, we will start working on a patch for UTX USA. Hopefully, this patch can be completed relatively quickly.

The USA patch will conclude UTX patches released for 2010. The remaining portion of the year will be spend working on the exciting new product lines that have been discussed in the past. That will be an exciting time for us.

That's all for now....

  1. Hi! After installing your Ultimate Alaska X into my computer, FSX frame rates dropped to single digits. I purchased a new Alienware, with the i7, 9G DDR3 and a GeForce GTX260 with 1.8G on board. Ultimate Alaska X claims it can run with all settings on high no problem. Unfortunately, that isn't happening. Do you know why I might still be getting frame rates in single digits? Might I have some setting incorrect? Is this possibly why there's a patch in the works? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
